Tune Guitar-3 Easy Methods To Tune Your Guitar By Yourself
Tuning Your Guitar by yourself can be so hard except you have totally developed your ear to music note.
But never mind I will try my possible best to give you three methods you can use to tune your guitar.
Now before we proceed let me quickly tell you the meaning of these terms:
1.Sharp= #
2.Flat = b
What do we mean by this two terms sharp and flat? In music when we say a note is sharp that means the sound is a little bit more higher than the other note sound e.g f is sharp of m cos the sound its a little bit more higher l is sharp of se, r is sharp of de e.t.c
So what of flat? A note is said to be flat when when the sound is lower than the other notes. E.g m note is flat of f, se is flat of l and de is flat of r e.t.c
Hope you understand that? Good read it again to understand better.
So what are the three method of tuning the guitar by yourself.
1.Using The Whole Strings Method.
We have six strings on a guitar which are Thickest E to Thinnest e.
Namely: E = 6. Thickest
A = 5
D = 4
G = 3
B = 2
e = 1. Thinnest
Press the fifth fret of each string and download this audio file to tune,Make sure each string sound the same as in the audio file.

2.Using Open string method
Open string means don't press any fret,just play.

3.Using Fifth Fret Method
Fret the low E string at the 5th fret
2) Still fretting the low E string, play the open A string above it:
3) If the open A string sounds lower than the 5th fret E string, tune it up until it sounds exactly the same note...
If the open A string sounds higher than the E string at fret 5, first tune it down lower, then tune it up until it sounds exactly the same note...
Note: Tuning up ensures the string's tension is locked and
will therefore stay in tune longer.
4) Repeat the same process, but with the A string at the 5thfret and the D string open - tune up or down until the A string at fret 5 and the open D string become the same note.
5) Repeat the same process, but with the D string at the 5th fret and the G string open - tune up or down until the D string at fret 5 and the open G string become the same note.
6) This is where it changes slightly, because the tuning interval between the G and B string is different. Instead of tuning to the 5th fret, fret the G string at fret 4 . Then just follow the same process of tuning the B string up or down until it becomes the same note as the G string at fret 4.
7) Finally, it's back to the usual 5th fret method, with the B string at fret 5 and the open high E string. Follow the same tuning process as before!
